A day outside Copenhagen

Need a day away from Copenhagen? Why not hop on the train to the idyllic North of Zealand, which is a pleasant trip, if you are interested in art and want to enjoy the Danish nature.

Louisiana Museum of Modern Art

By the sea in an old park overlooking the Swedish coast, lies The Museum Louisiana, which specializes in exhibitions of modern art and new international artists. Although Louisiana is not inside Copenhagen itself, the museum is still worth a visit. Here there is both art and culture for all age groups, where even families with children are welcome.

Humlebæk Harbor

If the weather is nice it is a great opportunity to go down to Humlebæk's cozy harbor, where there is a beautiful lake, which can also be seen from Louisiana. Here you can go for a walk around the harbor or a walk along the beach and get a break from the fast pace of Copenhagen.

Restaurant Sletten

If you are feeling hungry, you can enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner at Restaurant Sletten, which is located in the middle of the old and idyllic Sletten harbor in Humlebæk. The restaurant offers a delicious Danish / European inspired menu with "smaller" dishes. Here you can enjoy a pleasant meal in a good and cozy atmosphere, with a beautiful view of Øresund.
